IceBlock containers are molded from a cold-shock-resistant BPA-free polypropylene rated to -40F, formulated to resist the cracking that thinner freezer containers develop after repeated freeze-thaw cycles with liquid soups and stocks. The straight-sided square shape is designed to interlock without wasted air gaps, so eight full containers occupy about 30 percent less freezer shelf space than an equivalent set of round tubs. Each container holds 32oz, enough for a hearty two-portion serving of soup, chili, or broth, and a fill line molded into the interior wall marks the safe headspace to leave for liquid expansion during freezing. Lids snap on with a raised center tab for easy one-hand removal even with cold, wet hands, and every container is labeled with a write-on strip plus a wet-erase marker included in the set for dating contents. The containers go straight from freezer to microwave for reheating, and both container and lid are top-rack dishwasher safe.
