Terms of Service
Effective January 1, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Duck Recipe website, recipe content, membership program, and kitchen store (collectively, the "Site"), operated by DUCK REEF, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing to a membership, placing an order, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Account Registration
To access certain features, such as saving recipes, purchasing a membership, or ordering from the store, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information, to keep it up to date, and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must notify us promptly at info@duckrecipe.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
2. Membership Subscriptions
We offer a paid membership that unlocks premium recipes and features, billed on either a monthly or annual basis:
- Monthly membership: $7.99 per month.
- Annual membership: $69.99 per year.
Memberships automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as applicable) at the then-current price, using the payment method on file, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing info@duckrecipe.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to membership benefits through that date. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. See our Refund Policy for further detail on billing and cancellation.
3. Store Orders
When you purchase a product from our kitchen store, you are entering into a sale agreement for that product. Prices, availability, and shipping charges are displayed at checkout and may change without notice for future orders. Orders over $75.00 qualify for free standard shipping, as noted at checkout. Return and refund terms for store products are set out in our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; copy, scrape, or redistribute recipe content, images, or other Site material except for personal, non-commercial use; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network connected to the Site; upload harmful code or interfere with the Site's operation; or impersonate any person or entity. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All recipes, articles, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, and other content made available on the Site (the "Content") are owned by DUCK REEF, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Content without our prior written permission.
6. Disclaimers
Recipes, nutritional estimates, and product descriptions are provided for informational purposes only. As described in our Disclaimer, the Site does not provide medical, dietary, or professional advice, and we make no guarantee regarding the accuracy or completeness of any Content.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DUCK REEF, LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Site will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
8. Governing Law, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Agreement to arbitrate. Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court, you and DUCK REEF, LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved through binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, conducted under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider and administered in Florida, unless you and we agree otherwise in writing.
Class action waiver. You and DUCK REEF, LLC each agree that any proceeding to resolve a dispute will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) may proceed in court, but the remainder of this arbitration agreement will still apply to all other claims.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Site and close your account at any time by contacting us. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
